Fantastic post, Eric. Helped me break the emotional story for my series ideas. The XYZ thing is GREAT. Really helped me understand the emotional character mechanics that will drive story in each episode. I spent 30 minutes writing an XYZ for my four series ideas and feel like I know my own concepts much much better already!

Thanks!!

p.s. - I hope to make it to your seminar next Sunday at the Screenwriter's Expo! I may be stuck volunteering at the Expo that day, though. Your information is great and I know I'd get a lot out of the seminar. You have a great, simple communication style.
