I had a great time presenting workshops, speaking and hearing writers’ ideas at the Willamette Writers Conference in Portland, OR August 5-7. Thanks to all who attended and staffed the event for making it such a pleasure!

Loved your presentation and your website. Hope some day to have an actual script to send you. Still learning how to convert from Lit. to screenplay, and it may take some time. I have to get the submissions of finished projects in first. I was the woman who you first met by that was pitching literature only, then was pushed to pitch an unfinished YA as a possible TV series. My YA ideas got good buzz, so I’ll at least attempt it. I’m sorry I didn’t see the need to attend any film/screenplay workshops until Sunday. I’ll have to plan on it next year. Hope you enjoyed your time in Portland, and I hope you will return for the conference next year.
